Mrs. Sadie D. Evans, 95 of Southport, NC, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Dosher Memorial Hospital in Southport, NC. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00PM on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at St. James AME Zion Church, 407 E. West Street, Southport, NC 28461. Burial will follow at John N. Smith Cemetery, 225 E. Leonard Street, Southport, NC 28461. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, from 10AM-1PM at St. James AME Zion Church, 407 E. West Street, Southport, NC 28461. 

Mrs. Sadie D. Evans is survived by (3 Son's) Willie "Jackie" (Osia) Evans of Chesapeake, VA, Jesse (Rosa) Evans of Southport, NC, and Desmond J. Evans of Charleston, SC. Mrs. Evans is also survived by a host of loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Evans was a member of The Order of Eastern Star.
