Reverend Jay Lynn Stanley, 81 of Longwood, NC died Thursday, October 17, 2019 at McLeod Seacoast Hospital in Little River, SC.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, October 25, 2019 at Ocean View Missionary Baptist Association Center, 7550 Ocean Hwy. West, Sunset Beach, NC 28468. Burial will follow at Flowers Cemetery in Longwood, NC. Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 4-6PM in the Chapel of Peoples Funeral Home of Shallotte, Inc., 5190 Ocean Hwy. West, Shallotte, NC 28470. Reverend Jay Lynn Stanley is survived by his wife of sixty-one years Mrs. Virginia Berkley Stanley of the home. (Three sons) Michael (Sylvia) Stanley of Longwood, NC, Tony (Lori) Stanley of Clinton, NC, and George (Keisha) Stanley of Wallace, NC. (Three daughters) Janice (Danny) McMillian of Brooksville, SC, Dena (Joe) Ntukulu and Shirley (Michael) Stevenson both of Charlotte, NC. 22 Grandchildren, 23 Great-Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Greatgrandchild, and a host of family and friends.
