Mrs. Virginia Ruth Hewett, 84 of Hampton, VA (formerly of Supply, NC) passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at her residence in Hampton, VA. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1229 Cedar Grove Rd. SW, Supply, NC 28462. Burial will follow at Riley-Hewett Cemetery, Off of Turkey-Trap Rd. SW, Supply, NC 28462. Viewing will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024, from 1-6 PM in the Chapel of Peoples Funeral Home of Shallotte, Inc., 5190 Ocean Hwy. West, Shallotte, NC 28470, and at the church on Saturday, August 31, 2024, following the services.

 Mrs. Hewett is survived by her husband Mr. Perry Hewett of Hampton, VA; (1-Son) Mr. Sheldon Deon Hewett of Hampton, VA; (6-Grandchildren); (3-Great-Grandchildren); (2-Sisters) Mrs. Zelma Williams of Supply, NC and Mrs. Gladys Hewett of Goldsboro, NC; (4-Brothers) Mr. Adolph Fullwood of Birmingham, AL, Mr. Maceo Fullwood of Shallotte, NC, Mr. Sidney Fullwood and Mr. Earl H. Fullwood both of Supply, NC; Host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
