Mrs. Mabel Hefner Brown, 73, of 378 Finch Dr. SW, Shallotte, NC, died Saturday, August 15, 2015 at home. Funeral service will be Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Peoples Funeral Home of Shallotte, 5190 Ocean Hwy. West, Shallotte, NC. Burial will follow at Jennines Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, 5256 Beach Dr., SW, Shallotte, NC. The viewing will be Wednesday, August 19, 2015 from 11:00 AM until the start of the service at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Peoples Funeral Home of Shallotte, Inc. Mrs. Brown is survived by one daughter, Barbara Gale Hefner of Biscoe, NC; one son, Robert E.
