Mr. Elbert Leo Johnson, Sr., 68 of  927 J and E Lane SW, Shallotte, NC died Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at his residence in Shallotte, NC.  Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1229 Cedar Grove Rd. SW, Supply, NC 28462.  Burial will follow at Johnson Cemetery in Shallotte, NC, off of Todd Rd. in Shallotte. Viewing will be held on Monday, December 30, 2019 from 2-6PM in the Chapel of Peoples Funeral Home of Shallotte, Inc., 5190 Ocean Hwy. West, Shallotte, NC 28470 and at the church one-hour prior and following the services. Mr. Elbert Leo Johnson, Sr. is survived by his wife Mrs. Martiza Johnson of the home, (2 Sons) Elbert Leo Johnson, Jr. of Atlanta, GA, and Eduardo (Heather-Gales) Johnson of Shallotte, NC. (1 Daughter) Milissa (Omar) Williams of Raleigh, NC, (6) Grandchildren, (1) Great-Grandchild, and a  host of loving family and friends.
