Mr. Edgar Allen Jackson, Sr., 85 of Southport, NC died, Friday, July 26, 2019 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.  Funeral services will be held Friday, August 2, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Browns Chapel AME Zion Church , 745 Jabbertown Rd. Southport, NC 28461. Burial will follow at J. C. Smith Cemetery in Southport, NC. The viewing will be held on Friday, August 2, 2019 at the church one-hour prior and following the services. Mr. Edgar Allen Jackson, Sr. is survived by (1 Son) Edgar Allen Jackson, Jr. of Southport, NC, (1 Daughter) Tina Jackson of Southport, NC, (5 Grandchildren), (3 Great-Grandchildren), and a host of family and friends.  A Service of Peoples Funeral Home of Shallotte, Inc
