Deacon Edgar Lee Bell, Sr.,77, of Ash, NC, (formally of Bolivia, NC) passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Brunswick Health and Rehab Center in Ash, NC.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at 12:00 PM at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 2100 Zion Hill Rd. SE, Bolivia, NC 28422.  Burial will follow at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery following the services. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, from 4-6PM in the Chapel of Peoples Funeral Home of Shallotte, Inc., 5190 Ocean Highway West, Shallotte, NC 28470.

Deacon Bell is survived by (1-Son) Edgar Lee Bell, Jr. of Harker-Heights, TX; (1-Daughter) Cynthia M. (Brian) Monroe of Shallotte, NC; (6-Grandchildren); (1-Great-Grandchild); (1-Aunt) Alice Bell; (2-Sister-In-Laws) Kathell Williams, and Vastia (Leon) Fields, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
